Housing Division

Housing Division

The City’s Housing Division administers federal, state and local affordable housing funds to improve the quality of life of community members through affordable housing and related community development activities.

Staff implements goals of the Housing Element of the General Plan and the HUD Consolidated Plan and administers the Successor Housing Agency responsibilities.

The Housing Division works with both non-profit and for-profit developers to increase the supply of housing that is affordable to households at or below the moderate income threshold, including seniors and those with special needs.

City facilities, including City Hall where the Housing Division is located, are open to the public BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. This allows commerce to continue to occur, but also implements social distancing, as meetings are staggered. This effort allows the City to help mitigate the potential spread of COVID-19 from person to person. Call (530) 879-6300 to make an appointment for the Housing Division.
